National Unity Platform (NUP) president Robert Kyagulanyia aka Bobi Wine has given the latest update on Kawempe North MP Muhammad Ssegirinya death. Bobi Wine says Muhammad Ssegirinya was yet to be pronounced dead.
Earlier, Bobi Wine had announced that Ssegirinya had passed on at Rubaga Hospital in Kampala. He now says that doctors say the MP was only brain dead.
Ssegirinya’s vital organs are also said to have become dysfunctional but the doctors were yet to declare him dead.
According to Bobi Wine’s clarification, when Ssegirinya’s monther was told that her son’s brain was dead and that most of his organs had failed, she quickly announced that Ssegirinya was dead.
Bobi Wine now says they were praying to God to do a miracle for the Kawempe North MP.
“According to the doctors, Hon. Ssegirinya MUHAMMAD is brain dead, most of his organs have shut down but he is not yet declared dead,” wrote Bobi Wine.
“When the mother was told that, she immediately announced his passing. Our teams are on ground monitoring the situation, as we all PRAY FOR A MIRACLE.”
