The latest photo of Speaker of Parliament Jacob Oulanyah says a lot about his health condition and suggests he could have returned from the UK.
Elected speaker in May 2021 to replace her hitherto boss Rebecca Kadaga, Oulanyah has been away from the public eye for weeks, raising speculation on his health condition.
Media reports suggested he had been flown to Nairobi, then the UK and, lately to Dubai, allegedly on critical condition.
This week, some MPs demanded that Oulanyah appears in public to put an end to rumors on his health. (See: JACOB OULANYAH HEALTH CONCERNS: MPs Pile More Pressure on Speaker to appear in public).
But, as usual, Oulanyah’s social media warriors under the Team Oulanyah label have shared a photo that suggests the speaker could be back.
The group quoted Elbert Hubbard on words and silence, and wished Oulanyah good health, life and protection.
“He who does not understand your silence will probably not understand your words,” said Team Oulanyah.
“Long live our Speaker… May God continue to protect you and guide your path always. Be blessed Jacob Oulanyah.”
Some reports claimed Oulanyah had jetted back into the country via Entebbe International Airport on July 23.
