Self-styled Ugandan prophet Samuel Kakande of Synagogue Church of All Nations, Mulago, Kampala, and his entire Kakande Ministries are mourning while ‘Pastor’ Jackson Ssenyonga is celebrating the Nigerian televangelist’s death.
‘Pastor’ Ssenyonga’s Christian Life Church is a few minutes’ drive away from Kakande’s SCOAN Mulago.
SCOAN Mulago is affiliated to TB Joshua Ministries’ SCOAN Lagos.
‘Prophet’ Kakande has sent “condolences to the entire Synagogue Church of all Nations and the family of Prophet TB Joshua who has gone to be with the Lord.”
He described him as a true prophet of God, a mentor and good example.
“He has been a Father, a teacher, a mentor to us and the entire world,” Kakande said in a statement issued by Kakande Ministries.
“He has lived an example of a True Christian. May His soul rest in eternal peace.”
But Ssenyonga insists TB Joshua was a false prophet that misled some Ugandans, reportedly including Kakande, and that his death had brought joy in heaven.
