A top leader in first son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s MK Movement (Project) has blasted a controversial activist of President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni’s ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) for constantly crying out to the head of state and government to intervene and save him from people he claims have been trailing him and want to end his life.
After the assassination of controversial vlogger Isma Olaxes aka Jajja Iculi, NRM Activist Ivan Kamuntu Majambere came out to claim that ‘pigs’ had once again threatened to kill him. He referred to those threatening him as pigs because President Museveni had used the same term to refer to Jajja Iculi’s killers. (See Details Here).
Majambere shared a screenshot showing a message he claimed to have received from phone number: +201091980327. The person reportedly threatening him assured him that he knows his movements, home and family members and that the hit gang would ensure that it ends his life and those of other personalities, including those in government. The list that Majambere shared included Kashambya County MP and MK Movement Deputy Spokesperson David Kabanda and other MK top brass: Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi, Andrew Mwenda Frank Gashumba as well as some government officials: Transport Minister Gen Edward Katumba Wamala, Namyalo Uzeiye and deputy presidential press secretary Faruk Kirunda.
“This is beyond imagination, these pigs are reaching a certain level of impunity that needs to be countered ASAP, this is a message I just received now, minutes after my neighbors saw [rare] guys wearing UPDF-like uniforms around my house. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Ministry of Security and State House Uganda, save me because it’s reached a certain level as God helps those who help themselves,” wrote Majambere.
But Kabanda, one of those on the list shared by Majambere, has trashed the NRM activist’s cries as a tool he is using to blackmail the president so that the General from Rwakitura can give him some money and bodyguards.
“I want to warn whoever thinks that they will get money and bodyguards from the President through BLACKMAIL to STOP. If you want money and bodyguards don’t add our names to your FAKE lists to justify your Madness. Those involved in faking such lists must quickly be dealt with,” Kabanda responded.
This is not the first time Majambere is claiming that some people want to kill him. Months ago, he cried to Museveni’s government and some agencies to rush him to America, claiming that Bobi Wine’s agents wanted to kill him. This followed an ugly incident at Jakana Nadduli’s burial during which he was beaten like a chicken thief. (See Details Here, There and Over There).
