Kira Municipality MP Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda says he has already written his will after being warned by first son and Chief Defence Forces (CDF) Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba in one of his previous posts on micro logging site X, formerly Twitter.
In one tweet, Gen Muhoozi suggested he would have a chance to sh00t at MP Ssemujju if he became a member of Parliament representing the UPDF, the Ugandan army in the House.
In Uganda, the UPDF is one of the special groups that have MPs representing them.
“People who say a General, like me should not engage the public are looking for war. Is it better that Uganda remains at peace or we have dead bodies in the street? I will NEVER stop engaging with my people.” Muhoozi wrote at 9:17 AM on Mar 1, 2025.
“Maybe when I become a UPDF Member of Parliament I may stop tweeting. At least then I will have a chance to shoot Semujju Nganda.”
When he spoke at an event organized by the Uganda Parliamentary Press Association (UPPA) to commemorate world press freedom day 2025 on Friday, Ssemujju dwelt on the predicament of Edward Ssebuuufu aka Eddie Mutwe, bodyguard to main opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, to predict hell for Uganda in the coming months especially as Uganda prepares for general elections.
Gen Muhoozi has come out to confirm that Eddie Mutwe was in his basement learning Runyankore. He also asked Bobi Wine, “what will you do about it?” (See Details Here).
It is such audacity that is making Ssemujju Nganda believe in his heart that Gen Muhoozi might have overthrown Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, his father, aged 80.
Ssemujju suspects that if that is not the case, then Museveni might have allowed Gen Muhoozi to exercise such power on his behalf.
He also told journalists that they should tighten their belts ahead of the elections, telling them that he has already written his will just in case Muhoozi fulfills his alleged plan to sh0ot him.

It should be remembered that Ssemujju Nganda has been vocal in criticizing Museveni, Muhoozi and other members of the first family.
For example, Ssemujju told Museveni to give his son Muhoozi and his wife (or wives as he put it) the list of his (Museveni’s) properties, making it clear that when he dies, Ugandans will not allow Muhoozi to inherit Uganda, as reported Here and There.
