Former Kampala Resident City Commissioner (RCC) Hudu Hussein has spoken out after President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni transferred him to Yumbe in latest reshuffle.
On March 23, Museveni’s office released the list of new Resident District Commissioners (RDCs), Resident City Commissioners (RCCs), their deputies and commissioners of the RDC secretariat. (See List Here).
The transfer of Hudu Hussein from Kampala to Yumbe was described by some as some sort of ‘firing,’ ‘throwing’ ‘and dumping’ of the controversial RCC.
But in his message reacting to the transfer, Hudu thanked the President for having confidence in him.
Noting that Kampala was a difficult station, the former RCC said he was ready to work in Yumbe.
“I would like to thank the President Museveni for the continued trust and confidence he has in me. Thank you Kampala, KCCA,” he wrote.
“It has been a challenging experience, I feel built and prepared for more challenges. Yumbe District, here I come, ready to work. Security and service delivery.”
Meanwhile, the date when the new RDCs and their deputies should pick their appointments has been revealed. (Read Story Here).
