The funeral program for Mr Pius Kamugisha, the former Galaxy FM radio Co-Director and Chairman, had been released by his station and family.
Following Kamugisha’s demise on Saturday, October 22, a mass was held at his home in Ssenge, Wakiso District on Sunday, October 23, starting at 6 pm.
Starting Monday, October 24, 2022, the deceased’s body arrived at his home in Ssenge, Wakiso District at 4 pm for a mass at 5 pm and a vigil starting at 7 pm.
On Tuesday, October 25, a church service at St Jude Catholic Church Ssenge in Wakiso District starting at 10 am.
After the reqeuim mass at St Jude Catholic Church Ssenge in Wakiso District, the body will leave for Ibanda District for burial.
On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, a church service will be held at Kigarama, Bukuto in Ibanda District beginning at 10 am ahead of burial ceremony on the same day starting at 12 pm.
Kamugisha perished in a traffic accident on the Entebbe Expressway on Saturday night. A Uganda Police Force (UPF) Traffic Department attributed the accident to reckless and drink driving, especially after alcohol bottles were found in Kamugisha’s car. (Read Story Here).
