HE NEEDS PRAYERS: Forcefully Vaccinated Ugandan Student in Critical Condition

A Ugandan student is currently admitted at Kiruddu Hospital in the capital Kampala after he was reportedly vaccinated by force.

Aged 14 and studying at St Martin Secondary School Jjanya, Mpigi, Jonah Luyinda is said to have been forcefully vaccinated against Covid19 in March 2022. Luyinda’s family says that students at the school where their son goes to were all inoculated on orders of the Mpigi District Health Officer (DHO).

Jasper Nsubuga narrated his brother’s ordeal at a press conference organized by the National Economic Empowerment Dialogue (NEED), whose leader is former presidential candidate Joseph Kiiza Kabuleta, on Monday.

Nsubuga says that Luyinda had no life-threatening health condition except an eye problem, but the family was shocked to be directed to pick him from school for further medical attention days after health officers vaccinated him without parental consent.

He further narrated that his brother’s body was swollen and that when they rushed Luyinda to Rubaga Hospital, they were told that some of the student’s organs had been badly affected.

That Rubaga referred Luyinda to Kiruddu Hospital where he was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) since his lungs reportedly had holes in them and his kidneys and heart were said to be failing. Nsubuga further said that Luyinda even reached the extent of losing his memory at one time.

Nsubuga added: “He was unable to identify his family members. At one time, we thought he was dead.” He went on to say that a doctor at Kiruddu told him that it was a mistake to inoculate Luyinda and that the jab was responsible for his deteriorating health.

Luyinda’s case comes on the backdrop of a statement in which the Ministry of Health claimed that no teenagers and students would be vaccinated without parental consent. (Read Story Here).
