Unknown assailants killed boxing coach Isaac Mando Zebra Senyange in Kampala City’s Kawempe early December 30 morning.
Gunmen shot the boxer dead in St. Francis Zone, Bwaise III Parish.
Eye witnesses told police detectives armed Gunmen had picked Senyanga from his home at about 1am.
That they saw two vehicles these assailants were traveling in.
They further told detectives these assailants, whose number they didn’t know, later shot Senyange about 400 meters from his home.
According to deputy Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP) spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire, the Force is actively investigating the murder.
“The area police responded and have already documented the scene. Crucial pieces of evidence and cartridges have been recovered from the scene. The body of the deceased was taken to City mortuary Mulago for a post mortem,” Owoyesigyire said.
“Our task team of intelligence and investigating officers have started the process of building on the evidence collected with an aim of identifying the assailants behind the murder of Zebra.”
