First Lady and Education Minister Janet Museveni.
Uganda’s ministry of education and sports has released the revised and harmonized calendar for all primary and secondary schools, running until 2023.
With Senior Two students reporting on May 13, instead of the earlier anticipated end of May, and with reopening for Primary One to Primary Three scheduled for June 07, the ministry has released a three-year plan to harmonize the school calendar.
The outbreak of Covid19 had disrupted the calendar, with most learners missing over one year of study.
P1-P3 are the last batch of learners to return to school.
The 2020 academic year will end on July 24, 2021, with a special term that will begin on June 07.
