FORGET! Museveni Delivers Bad News to ‘Greedy’ Science Teachers & Other Scientists Applying for Juicy Early Retirement Packages

Museveni Labels Retiring Early Scientists 'Traitors'

President Yoweri Museveni has rapped science teachers & other scientists applying for juicy early retirement packages, sending very discouraging news to those seeking to retire early.

Museveni described the actions of science teachers and other scientists who want to retire early after their salaries were increased significantly as “treachery.”

Further describing those science teachers and scientists on government payroll as “traitors,” Museveni made it clear that they will not be given the juicy retirement packages under the enhanced structure unless they serve full term.

According to the president, those who want to retire will not be stopped. However, they will have to make do with the unattractive retirement package under the pre-salary enhancement times, which is way lower than if they choose to work full term and leave when they clock retirement age.

Museveni also made it clear that his government was ready to replace those treacherous science teachers and scientists seeking early retirement with youthful scientists who are prepared and willing to serve their nation until retirement age.

“I have heard of the treachery by some of these Government Scientists who are saying that now that they have good pay, they are going to go for early retirement. Down with the traitors. Anybody who asks for early retirement, will not get that improved package. Shame on all of them,” said Museveni.

“I fought to improve your pay so that you work for your People in your field and not to facilitate your desertion and betrayal. If you want to retire, you will go with your old miserable pay and we shall employ younger People that are ready to work full term.”
