A memorial mass for the late radio presenter Alex Ndawula will take place at the Capital FM Gardens in Kampala on July 08 afternoon as the celebrated DJ’s final journey on earth begins, according to a program released by the family.
Born on January 08, 1963, Ndawula died on June 06, 2022 at Nsambya Hospital in the capital Kampala. But his burial was halted pending the arrival of his family members who live outside the country.
Now, according to the funeral program released by the family of the Late Mr Emmanuel Ndawula and Mrs Mary Frances Ndawula of Lungujja, Rubaga Division, Kampala, their son Alexander Michael Felix Mukonzi Ndawula will be laid to rest on Sunday July 10, 2022 at Kyamaganda Village in Lwengo District, with the funeral ceremony beginning with prayers at 12 noon.
Before Sunday, two events will happen in Kampala in honour of Ndawula: a public vigil and memorial mass at Capital FM and a funeral service at Rubaga.
“Friends, fans and colleagues will meet at Capital FM Gardens at Plot 1A Kisementi on Friday 8th July 2022 for a public vigil and memorial mass starting at 2:00pm,” the family announced.
“There will be a funeral service at Rubaga Cathedral in Kampala on Saturday 9th July 2022 starting at 3:00pm.”
