Parliament of Uganda has confirmed that Kyotera District Woman MP Robina Nakasirye Ssentongo has succumbed to Covid19.
“The Speaker informs the House that Hon Robina Ssentongo, MP for Kyotera District has passed on this morning after contracting and suffering from Covid19. The House observes a moment of silence in her honour,” Parliament said in a statement issued December 18.
Ssentongo becomes the third MP to succumb to Covid19 after Kamuli Municipality’s Rehema Watongola and Pallisa District Woman MP Faith Alupo.
