Former Kabale District chairman Patrick Besigye Keihwa has succumbed to Covid19.
Keihwa passed on at the Mulago National Referral Hospital in the capital Kampala on June 10.
He had been rushed to the hospital days earlier.
Keihwa lost his seat to Nelson Nshangabashaija months ago.
Uganda’s Covid19 deaths have surpassed the 400 mark, with thousands of cases in the past week.
