CONGS! Joy as Besigye’s Son Anselm Graduates with Master’s Degree, Girlfriend Cheers Him On (See Photos)

There is joy in veteran Ugandan opposition leader Dr Kizza Besigye’s family after the politician’s son Anselm graduated with a Master’s Degree.

Besigye was not in attendance as Anselm was awarded his Master’s Degree in the United States. But his mother, UNAIDS Executive Director Winnie Byanyima was present to cheer him – and so was his girlfriend.

We now know that Anselm Besigye’s white girlfriend is named Liz. (See our previous story on Anselm Besigye’s white girlfriend Here).

“Family and girlfriend Liz proudly cheered him [Anselm Besigye] on,” Winnie Byanyima told her social media followers.

Also cheering Anselm Besigye were his cousins.

Anselm Besigye now holds a Master’s Degree (MA) in Anthropology from the University of Chicago. His father Dr Besigye was pleased with his academic excellence.

“Hearty Congratulations Anselm!! Today, Anselm Besigye was awarded his Master’s Degree- MA (Anthropology) from the University of Chicago! Proud of your hard Anselm work that has kept you highly recognised for your academic performance. Keep moving!” wrote Besigye.

It should be remembered that when Anselm graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree a few years ago, Harvard gave him a cash prize for his great academic performance after which he was admitted for his Master’s. (See Details Here and There).

But among some Ugandans, especially conservative trolls, Anselm is seen as a spoilt child who sports dreadlocks and one who was pictured putting on a dress and what others referred to as knickers. In all these social media attacks, Winnie Byanyima has come out to defend her son, telling off trolls. (See Details Here, There and Over There).
