CONFIRMED: Uneb Announces UACE 2025 Results Release Date

Assessment body Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb) has confirmed UACE 2025 results release date.

Tens of thousands of candidates who sat Uganda  Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) 2025 examinations have been waiting for results from Uneb. Now, the assessment body has announced UACE 2025 Results Release Date.

Available data indicates that a total of 166,402 candidates registered to sit the 2025 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examinations. This number included 70 prisoners, 66 males, and four females.

There was a 14.6 per cent increase in the number of candidates who sat UACE 2025 in 2025 compared to the previous year (2024) when 141,996 candidates sat the end of A-level examinations. The candidature included 93,630 males or 56 per cent and 77,772 females or 44 per cent.

Candidates sat for UACE 2025 examinations at 2,844 centres across the country from November 10 to December 5, 2025.

After briefing education and sports minister, also first lady Janet Museveni, on candidates’ performance in UACE 2025, Uneb said a release date has been confirmed.

“Confirmed: The Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results for 2025 will be released on Friday, 13th March 2026 at 11:00 AM at State House Nakasero,” the assessment body announced on Wednesday, 11 March 2026.

“The results will be officially released by the Minister of Education and Sports.”

Meanwhile, Uneb has threatened to withhold results of schools with debts, as reported Here.
