President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni has narrated how he came to know and deal with fallen former Democratic Party (DP) President General Dr Paul (Paulo) Kawanga Ssemogerere, a man who previously served as Deputy Prime Minister in the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Government. 

Ugandan President has issued new directives to prevent the further spread of the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) in the country. Uganda’s Health Ministry declared the outbreak of the Ebola in the country in September 2022 after a man tested positive for the viral haemorrhagic disease in the district of Mubende. 

For the entire 72 hours I was held captive, they denied me meals as another torture tool. They only fed me on 30 whips for all the time I was held hostage.

In his third address since the outbreak — and the second one this week — Gen Museveni issued at least 24 directives on preventing the Ebola Virus Disease.

Today I do not want to fully address our strategies going forward but suffice it to note that we will be pursuing ALL CONSTITUTIONAL AND LEGAL OPTIONS available to us.  We will do so because we regard the many flaws in the elections and the wrongs committed by IEBC as FATAL to the process and the outcome announced by Mr. Chebukati. 

Inspector General of Government (IGG) Beti Olive Namisango Kamya has claimed that Nakawa West MP and  Committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities, and State Enterprises (Cosase) chairperson Joel Ssenyonyi is witch-hunting her.

And so, we have finally neared the summit of our journey from the Republic of Uganda to the Kingdom of Rwakitura under the Kaguta dynasty.
