Bomb Explosion Reportedly Hits Swift Safaris Bus

News coming in indicates that a suspected bomb explosion has hit a bus belonging to the Swift Safaris Limited company, at Lungala in Mpigi District.

The bus is said to have been headed to Mbarara City.

Other reports claimed scores have been injured.

State broadcaster UBC said one person has been confirmed dead and several were injured.

“The bus was approaching Mpigi, at Katende when the ‘bomb’ went off,” UBC reported.
