Bobi Wine: Assassinated Ndiga Clan Head Daniel Bbosa was My Uncle

Murdered Buganda Kingdom ndiga clan head Eng Daniel Bbosa Lwomwa was an uncle to Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu aka Bobi Wine, the National Unity Platform (NUP) president has revealed.

In a statement after the news of Bbosa’s assassination broke, Bobi Wine said the ndiga clan head was his maternal uncle.

“Just received the sad and shocking news of the murder in cold blood of the Head of the Ndiga Clan of Buganda Kingdom, Eng. Daniel Bbosa Lwomwa,” wrote Bobi Wine.

“As I will speak later, the now deceased elder has been my maternal uncle, who was closely related to our late mother.”

Bobi Wine urged security agencies to get to the root of the matter since the assailants have reportedly been apprehended.

“As media reports indicate that the citizens were vigilant and pursued and captured the assailants, every citizen hopes that this time around, the cause and motive of this murder will be investigated swiftly and efficiently and the perpetrators brought to justice.”
