A member of President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni’s cabinet has announced that all unvaccinated people could be barred from accessing the capital Kampala starting January 2022.

Speaking to city traders in Kikuubo, state minister for Kampala and metropolitan affairs Kabuye Kyofatogabye revealed that a Covid19 vaccination card could soon make the difference.

“If you don’t want any disruption in your work, please get that jab,” said Minister Kyofatogabye, adding that unvaccinated people would be allowed to go and lord over their homes where they will be at liberty to infect their family members.

“The difference between your easiness to work and the hardship to work is a jab in your body.”

In his most recent address to the nation, President Museveni said he would fully reopen the economy in January 2022 whether some people get vaccinated or not.

Minister Kabuye emphasized Museveni’s assertion that there were about 15 million Covid19 vaccine doses, capable of inoculating about eight million people in the country.

He also warned men that Covid19 had been said to cause erectile dysfunction, saying that was reason enough for them to embrace vaccination.
