SOMBRE MOOD: Jacob Oulanyah’s Body Returned to Uganda Ahead of Burial Next Week

There was a sombre mood at the Entebbe International Airport as the body of Jacob Oulanyah, the late speaker of parliament, returned to Uganda on April 01 afternoon. 

Oulanyah died on March 20. (Read Story Here).

The Ethiopian Airlines plane carrying Oulanyah’s body landed at Entebbe International Airport at about 2pm local time.

Several government officials, including speaker Anita Among and her deputy Thomas Tayebwa, and Oulanyah’s family members were at the airport to receive the body.

The body will be handed to A-Plus Funeral Services for funeral management.
