Three people have been shortlisted for a top KCCA director job. The Education Service Commission (ESC), which runs under the Ministry of Education and Sports, is recruiting the director education and social services for the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA).
The job of KCCA director education and social services was advertised by the ESC under Internal Advert No. 4/2025.
The shortlisted candidates are all male. These will be subjected to both a competence test and oral interviews next week, The Pearl Times has learnt.
“The Secretary, Education Service Commission (ESC) informs applicants for the post of Director, Education and Social Services, Kampala Capital City Authority, advertised under Internal Advert No. 4/2025, that the shortlist is hereby released,” announced ESC permanent secretary Dr Asuman Lukwago.
“The shortlisted candidates will be subjected to a Competence Test scheduled to take place on Monday 11th August 2025 starting at 9.00 am at ESC Offices, 1st Floor at Farmers House, Parliament Avenue.
“The oral interviews will be conducted on Tuesday 12th August 2025 starting at 8.00 am.”
The shortlisted candidates have been urged to go along with their national identity cards and a blue or black pen only.
“Candidates whose names do not appear on the list should consider themselves unsuccessful,” noted Lukwago.
The three shortlisted candidates are: Hussein Bugembe registration number GT/2003/1716 V/99/115 111/92/1929; Tyson Kasangaki Kiiza registration number GT/2004/809; and Charles Bonnie Maginot registration number GT/97/601.
PS Lukwago also told candidates that services provided by Education Services Commission are free of charge.
